NEWARK PRINT SHOP wants to print at your school!
Newark Print Shop provides sequential art education packages for K-12 classroom settings. In-School and After-School Programs are designed to promote artistic excellence, encourage creative self-expression and cultivate each student’s potential through fine art printmaking. NPS Education Programs are aligned with National and State Standards.

NPS Residencies consists of the following program options:

POP: Printing on the Press: Newark Print Shop’s POP PROGRAM introduces students to various printmaking methods on the etching press, including monoprinting, relief printing and intaglio. Participating students explore color and experiment with imagery to express their ideas visually making art that is challenging, fun, and meaningful. Grades: K-12 Class size: Up to 25 students

 

 

                    

YES: Young Entrepreneur Screenprinters: Newark Print Shop’s YES PROGRAM introduces students to screen printing as a historical, contemporary, and entrepreneurship art practice as a means to empower. NPS offers this educational opportunity using a screenprinting set up and is taught by professional teaching artists. Participating students learn about brand development, principles of design, apparel screenprinting production, commercial art printing and product display.  Grades: 6-12 Class size: Up to 25 students.
