Reduction Linocut Postcards Workshop with Bruno Nadalin
SUN 11/25
12am – 4pm
$125 (includes all materials)

REDUCTION LINOCUT POSTCARDS
In this workshop, students will make and print their own edition of color postcards using the
reduction linocut method. Pioneered by Picasso, the reduction method utilizes multiple colors on one
plate of linoleum, allowing for freer handling and a very expressive result. We’ll cover transferring an
image to the block, using the carving tools, inking the block, and the roles line and pattern play in
creating impactful prints. Please bring one or two 5 x7” sketches (or ideas for sketches) that you
would like to produce as postcards. Perfect for holiday gift/card giving. All materials will be provided.

Absolute beginners welcome!
